DEVELOPING PERSPECTIVES

Robin is from the Netherlands. Before starting at IDS she completed a Bachelors in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a major in Social Sciences and also completed a Masters in International Relations. She is mostly interested in how to tackle poverty and inequality, while also considering the environmental and sustainablity aspects of development.

Vedika is from India, where she completed an undergraduate degree in sociology. She worked at an academic research organisation between finishing her undergraduate degree and starting her Masters in Poverty and Development at IDS. She is interested in the anthropological and sociological sides of development and the application of social theory in the field of development. 

Matthias was born in Colombia but grew up in Zurich, Switzerland, where he studied Political Sciences and Sociology. Prior to joining IDS, he worked at a consultancy promoting social impact entrepreneurship. He is particularly interested in global inequalities, structural transformations and the impact of globalization on emerging economies.

Noah is from the United States. Prior to starting at IDS, he completed undergraduate degrees in International Business and International Studies. He is interested in the role of inclusive businesses in promoting sustainable development and finding ways to encourage innovation in development practice.
